Do I need a Comp Card?

If you are entering the entertainment industry, a comp card is a necessity. This low cost product is your way of selling yourself. This is your chance to make a great first impression. Comp cards show a model's photos, vital statistics and contact information.

What about a modeling agency?

Using a modeling agency is the professional way to increase your opportunities for being recognized. We encourage you contact a local agency to help jumpstart your career. If you are looking for an agency, we can confidently recommend any of those that we work with.

What type of photos do you need?

You can supply us with digital photos or with actual printed photographs. If you are supplying us with digital images, please be sure that the pictures are a minimum of 300 dpi. Headshots for the front of the comp card should be a minimum of 5.5”x8.5.” Pictures for the back of the card should be a minimum of 3.5”x5.5.”

Another option is to provide us with actual photographs. We will scan these into our system to assure that a high quality image is used on your cards. Please do not send anything printed on an ink-jet printer or picture maker.

Remember, your comp cards will be only as good as the photos you send us. If you need a professional photographer, look for one in your local area, or call us for the name of an experienced photographer who has done outstanding work for us.

1. We will mail you a hard copy of the proof. This is what your card will look like. We suggest that you select this option.

2. We will e-mail you a soft copy of your proof, which shows how your card has been laid out. You can then proofread your information although the photo quality will not be as crisp and the color may not be an accurate representation.

Your cards will be shipped from our production facility within five days from the time we recieve your approval.
